The Timeline

From the last day at Parkterrasse to grand opening — the milestones we're working towards.

  1. Tue 21 Jul

    Play Area & events move to Merkurgässli

    The Play Area opens on the 1st floor at Merkurgässli — and all TCG events run at the new location from here on. Tue–Fri, 17:00–23:30.

  2. Sat 25 Jul

    Parkterrasse shop closes

    One last day at Parkterrasse. Final tournaments, send-off pack rips, a thank-you to a place that's been our home for years.

  3. Tue 28 Jul

    Merkurgässli shop opens (transition hours)

    Doors open at the new location. Through to the end of August we're running on limited transition hours while the fit-out wraps up — see below. The online shop stays open throughout, so you can keep ordering as usual.

  4. 7–9 Aug

    Magic: “The Hobbit” Pre-Release

    Be among the first to crack the new set. Pre-Release weekend at Merkurgässli.

  5. 21–22 Aug

    One Piece OP17 Release

    OP17 launches — release events and fresh stock at the new shop.

  6. 28–30 Aug

    Grand Opening Weekend

    The full thing — bar, bistro, lounge, tournaments, outdoor seating, the whole hub, with events all weekend long.

FAQ

Questions, answered

A few of the things we get asked most. More on the way as we get closer.

Will pre-orders still be honored?

Yes — every pre-order placed before the move is honored. We'll keep you updated on shipping windows around moving week.

What happens to ongoing tournament series?

Series in flight will continue without interruption. Standings carry over, and we'll publish the updated venue schedule once dates are locked.

What are the opening hours during the transition?

From 28 July until roughly 31 August 2026 we're running on limited transition hours while the fit-out wraps up. Shop hours:

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 12:00–20:00
  • Friday: 12:00–22:00
  • Saturday: 09:00–17:00

The Play Area & events run at Merkurgässli (1st floor) from 21 July — the location stays open for events until around 23:30 (Mon–Fri), and on Saturdays depending on the event. Full opening hours land with the Grand Opening Weekend, 28–30 August.

Can I still order cards online?

Always. goodgamesbern.ch and our Cardmarket store stay open before, during, and after the move.

Will events pause during the transition?

No pause at all. From Tuesday 21 July every event already runs at the new location — the Play Area on the 1st floor at Merkurgässli — even before the shop fully moves over.
